1) replace the screen? (i have about 20 dead pixel lines running vertically down the screen, its 17 inches)

2) replace the cd drive? (its also a dvd/cd writer, and this error.. “The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.” when using certain software installation cds, ive been lead to believe this is due to cd drive being worn)

3) restore laptop to factory settings? (ive backed everything up onto an external hard-drive, and want to now wipe the computer completely to how it was when i bought it brand new, and i dont want to download all the drivers from the website incase they are faulty, and no cd came with the laptop)
